I would love to see the Reds draft Grant Green. I just don't know if he'll fall that far...

I would imagine the Orioles would be hard pressed to pass on Grant Green. I know nobody wants to draft for need, but with a player of his talent available, I'd think you'd have to really fall in love with an arm to add another one to a system with three or four elite pitching prospects and no solution at either middle infield slot.

Or am I missing something...is he not going to stick at SS?

My money's on one of those Angels picks being used to draft Matt Davidson, 3B, Yucaipa, CA. He seems to rank above Stassi and Mier on most lists I've seen and he has the southern California thing going for him.

Surprised to hear you say Purke is the best HS lefty. He throws a little harder than Matzek, but Matzek sounds to be more polished. I have also heard some mechanical concerns for Purke. What am I missing?

Why so sure the Braves won't take a college player? In some recent drafts, they have been less high school oriented than their reputation.

I think Grant Green would be a better pick for the Giants. I know they love high school arms and they've actually had good luck recently, with Cain, Bumgarner, and Alderson, but they really, really, really need some offensive prospects in that system. Unless a pitcher like Turner is hands down a better prospect than Green, I think the Giants need to go offense. I guess there's no chance that Tate falls to the Giants at 6?

Does the MLB Scouting Bureau make any of their data available to the public? Your mention of Strasburg's OFP score got me thinking that many, many fans would be very interested in seeing more numbers for more players like this...

Kentrail Davis was highly rated before the season, and had a season OPS of .900+. I gather his stock has dropped, but how far?

Has Ryan Jackson's lack of offense hurt him to the point of dropping bigtime? I know he's been mentioned as a first rounder if he tuned up his offensive game with an amazing Gold Glove caliber glove, but where would you see him falling since he hasn't seemed to do that much? Does he project as a quality prospect still?
