2007

Natale picked up where he left off in 2006, tearing up Sally League pitching. He didn`t dominate once promoted to Wilmington--a 29-game stretch with just one extra-base hit caused some alarm--but did reached base in his first 22 games at the new level. That plate discipline was no fluke; overall he hit .304/.446/.469, and was named the organization`s Minor League Hitter of the Year. Undersized, below average at second, and old for his league at every stop, the former 32nd-rounder won`t win many believers until he succeeds in Double-A, but he is in an organization that will give him that chance.
