2007

Acquired from the Padres for Dave Hansen back in 2004, Huber was a starter until this season. The shift to relief seems to agree with him, and his improved command earned him a successful September call-up. Huber`s out-pitch is a hard-breaking curve, which complements his low-90s fastball. He should be in the middle relief mix this spring.

2005

The Mariners are ex-huber-ant about the return they got for Dave Hansen. He's got heat on his fastball and throws a good curve that racked up the strikeouts, barely missing a K an inning in '04. Old for his level, he'll need to impress in the Texas League to stay in the team's good graces
