It's been a busy couple of days, and the trots didn't stop. Indeed, they only seemed to get better. Let's get right to them!

Home Run of the Day: Gio Gonzalez, Washington Nationals – 24.67 seconds [video]
A complete game and the home run? Hard to ignore that. Other big home runs from the last few days include that pair of home runs from Giancarlo Stanton on Wednesday, a blast from Mike Trout on his 21st birthday, a couple of big shots from Starling Marte on Tuesday and Wednesday, and Josh Hamilton's 30th homer of the year last night.

Slowest Trot: Kendrys Morales, Los Angeles Angels #1 – 25.9 seconds [video]
A pair of home runs from Morales, both of which were near the top for the slowest home run of the day. Morales' first trot beat out Torii Hunter for the top spot. On Monday and Tuesday, however, the top trots each passed 26 seconds. On Monday, both Adrian Beltre and Martin Maldonado (who blew kisses to the crowd at home plate) passed the 26-second mark. On Tuesday, it was Billy Butler and Chris Johnson.

Quickest Trot: Eric Young Jr., Colorado Rockies – 14.27 seconds [video]
This is where things got fun this week. On Tuesday, Adam Rosales finally got his first home run of the season. For those who don't know, Rosales destroyed the Tater Trot Tracker in 2010, turning in the five fastest trots of the year, many of them faster than some inside-the-parkers. His trot on Tuesday was 16.86 seconds, easily fast enough to make the top 10 for 2012. It was still a second slower than his 2012 trots, though.

On Wednesday, it was Colorado's Eric Young, Jr., who led off the game in Dodger Stadium with a blast to centerfield. The ball was misplayed by Matt Kemp, giving Young the green light to motor around the bases. The 14.27 second trot time is dead even with the quickest MLB inside-the-park trot of the season (a 14.26 second trot from Peter Bourjos) and the third official inside-the-park trot time in the last three years.
