The Tater Trot Tracker has been absent the past couple of days, so let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Day: Andrew McCutchen, Pittsburgh Pirates – 20.48 seconds [video]
McCutchen takes this spot almost by default, with few home runs of note being hit on Monday. The Pirates and Reds played a 14-inning affair helped in part by this home run, the first for Pittsburgh in five games. Cincinnati would come through with the victory after the Pirates squandered a bases-loaded, no-outs situation in the top half of the 14th.

In other home runs, Colorado pitcher Alex White hit his first career home run against the Giants on Monday. On Sunday, Tampa Bay's BJ Upton hit three home runs. The slowest of his three trots was 18.66 seconds, with the quickest falling just outside of the year's top 10 at 17.41 seconds. That might be the shortest amount of time any player has spent on the bases in a three home run game.

Slowest Trot: Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants – 23.67 seconds [video]
Bad luck for Posey. Of 18 home runs hit on the day, someone had to be the slowest.

Saturday was a bit slower. Ryan Zimmerman capped the day's trots with a 27.75 second stroll which beat out the second slowest of the day (Brandon Phillips' 25.63 second trot) by over two seconds.

Quickest Trot: Chris Heisey, Cincinnati Reds – 18.03 seconds [video]
You can always count on Heisey to give a nice quick trot. Only Brandon Moss, at 19.93 seconds, joined Heisey in the under-20-second club Monday night.

Joining BJ Upton on Sunday with a quick trot was Curtis Granderson, whose 17.57 second trot was nearly identical to Upton's fastest. On Saturday, Logan Forsythe also joined the 17-second club with a 17.98 second trot.
