It's going to be a quick one today, so let's get right to the trots!

Home Run of the Weekend: Giancarlo Stanton, Miami Marlins – 21.91 seconds [video]
Giancarlo Stanton had hit zero home runs coming into the weekend. On Saturday, he blasted this mammoth home run over the left field scoreboard at Marlins Park. The Marlins called the home run 472 feet; Hit Tracker Online disagreed, calculating it at 440 feet. Either way, it's a sight to see. Stanton also hit two more on Sunday.

Slowest Trot: Dioner Navarro, Chicago Cubs – 26.15 seconds [video]
Navarro was nearly two seconds slower than the next slowest trotter on Sunday, Yoenis Cespedes, who hit a home run late in the game of his first appearance since returning from the disabled list.

Quickest Trot: Giancarlo Stanton #2, Miami Marlins – 18.89 seconds [video]
It was a good weekend to be Stanton. If we were giving out the crown for tater trot with the most effort, it would most certainly go to Jesus Montero for this trot on Saturday. He was trying so hard and yet he still clocked in at 20.8 seconds.

This trot from Brett Lawrie on Saturday is also worth watching. As he approaches each base, he appears to skip (or shuffle) his feet. I've seen players shuffle their feet to get into the proper step before a base plenty of times (David Ortiz does it often), but Lawrie feels different somehow. It is especially rare on a trot as quick as this one (18.22 seconds).
