Mark Reynolds and a Very Suspicious Break

by Sam Miller

This GIF is called "a baseball is hit to Mark Reynolds' right," or, alternately, it's called "Mark Reynolds goes to his left."

The Indians' announcers, after much consternation, concluded that Reynolds was going to cover first base because Reynolds saw a piece of the broken bat fly off and thought it was the ball. LOL at "Reynolds saw." Yeah, okay, sure he did. I think we all know the truth

Another angle. Thanks to Nick for the heads-up.

lol... Reynolds is completely and utterly blind. Best article for baseball I've laughed at in a long time.

The "Is Mark Reynolds blind" series is brilliant. We may be heading into Pulitzer territory.

I love this bit (and I like Reynolds). I do wonder whether some middle school teacher somewhere will get an essay about the inspirational story of the blind guy in MLB.

And the poor guy had to track a pop up in the 6th inning of the first game of today's doubleheader. Priceless. I wanted to laugh, but my mom would tell me that it isn't polite because he is doing the best he can, and I have to listen because I live in her basement.
