Tater Trot Tracker

La Serie del Caribe, Championship Game

Trot times for the championship game of the 2013 Caribbean Series, including trots from Karim Garcia and Douglas Clark.

Last night—and well into this morning—Mexico's Yaquis de Ciudad Obregón and Dominican Republic's Leones de Escogido battled in the championship game of the Caribbean Series. Los Yaquis defeated Los Leones, 4-3,to take the crown for the second time in three years. The game lasted seven hours and 18 innings and was only won when Mexico's Douglas Clark hit a home run over the right field fence in the top of the 18th.

Jhonny Peralta Makes Five ACES Clients Tied to East Coast BALCO

An SI.com story by Tom Verducci links Jhonny Peralta to Biogenesis, the Miami-area lab being called the "East Coast BALCO." But, what may be more disturbing, Peralta is another ACES client.

First, it was Manny Ramirez. Then, it was Melky Cabrera. More recently, it has been Bartolo ColonGio Gonzalez, Nelson Cruz, and Alex Rodriguez. Now, according to a report by SI.com’s Tom Verducci, Detroit Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta has been found in the records of Tony Bosch and Biogenesis, the wellness clinic in Miami that is being coined the “East Coast BALCO.”
