Tool Future Grade Report
Hit 50 Hits from an open stance w/ a wide base & hands resting on his shoulder. Eliminated the noisy hand load that had given him trouble up to this point. Now employs more of a direct, "Point A to Point B" swing. Above-avg hand speed. No trouble handling velo inside. Level swing plane enables him to drive the ball from gap-gap. Consistently puts together competitive AB's. Pure hit tool plays up due to approach/walk rates.
Power 55 Generates easy plus raw power to all fields. Should get to 25-30 HR impact in-game.
Baserunning/Speed 30 Well below-avg foot speed. Little to no value on the basepaths
Glove 50 Has seen time in all 3 outfield spots, but lacks the foot speed/instincts to handle CF. Arm strength is playable in RF (45-grade glove) but he fits most comfortably in LF.
Arm 50 Average strength. Fringy RF fit, works best in LF.
Overall

It was a tale of two seasons for Bleday, who struggled mightily in Double-A but made a noticeable change & looked like a completely different player in the AFL. It's a bat-only profile, but I believe he'll produce enough to profile as a regular in an outfield corner.
