FB 55 91-94 95 gets on top with okay downhill plane; little late arm-side movement; commands the strikezone well and uses all 4 quadrants effectively.
SL 55 81-83 84 short, tight breaker; good tilt; commanded to glove side and arm-side really well; worked all 4 quadrants and threw for strike in any count; also threw as a chase pitch.
Overall

Nick Goody was the closer for LSU as a junior in 2012 and was selected by the New York Yankees in the sixth round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft. In my viewing, he flashed a solid average FB/SL combo that was getting swings and misses on. He had 27 K's in 15.1 IP earlier this year in Tampa but has scuffled a bit in Trenton. I still see 7th inning upside with a floor of a long reliever.
