Bats: Right Throws: Right

Mechanics
Reliever delivery, moderate effort. NWU only; long stride and hard, heel-first landings consistently pull down the mound to 1B side. Strong, stiff arm-stroke through OT slot; lengthy, wrapped arm in the back and recoiled arm bounce after release give trouble with SL.

Pitch Type Future Grade Sitting Velocity Peak Velocity Report
Fastball 60 94 96 Plus natural velocity from physical power-pitcher frame. Ranged 93-96 w/ overall heaviness to ball and avg arm-side run. Never will pitch w/ true command to spots in the zone; basic control can be inconsistent as well. On-and-off strike-thrower.
Changeup 50 83 85 Relied on CH more than SL. Flashed abv-avg action w/ good velo separation off FB and late turnover to arm-side at best. Overall will play as avg pitch; shows too early and over-fades in to RHH when front side of delivery flies open and he's pulled off-line.
Slider 45 82-83 85 Fringy overall pitch; best SLs will occasionally flash fair velocity and depth; wrapped, stiff arm-action gives trouble bringing 50-grade SL out consistently. Third pitch.
Overall

Despite being older AA player, see best-case ceiling as low-leverage middle-reliever for non-contenting club. More realistic profile is that of an up-and-down and/or high-minors 'pen arm, lacking the consistent control and secondary action to fit a regular big league MR profile. Former early pick who has experienced more success since moving to bullpen in 2015.
