The latest example of Ichiro Suzuki's weird and wonderful sense of humor: a survey form he filled out for a newspaper company as a third-year high school student.
No, I couldn't read it either. But Patrick Newman of NPB Tracker could, and he was kind enough to translate it for the rest of the internet. Among the revelations:
- High school Ichiro had no strengths, which he considered a weakness
- High school Ichiro enjoyed digging holes
- High school Ichiro aspired to become a "mountain supervisor" and the manager of a mushroom patch
So, yeah, Ichiro. Always weird, always wonderful.
