Jason Delay (C/1B), out of Northview High School (Duluth, GA), is one of several potential early round high school backstops in the 2013 draft class. There is growing power in his bat, though he plays best now gap-to-gap with a level, leveraged swing. Behind the dish, Delay has a strong defensive foundation, including solid side-to-side actions, receiving skills and the makings of a strong catch-and-throw game.
