- Dodgers SP Chris Capuano (groin) threw a bullpen session Tuesday.
- Brewers SP Wily Peralta will not make his final regular season start due to a blister on his throwing hand.
- Braves RP Jonny Venters (elbow) was cleared to begin playing catch from 30 feet on Tuesday.
- Mets manager Terry Collins admitted Tuesday that he's "worried" about whether RP Bobby Parnell (neck) will be 100 percent for spring training.
- Padres manager Bud Black indicated Tuesday that he's optimistic OF Will Venable (abdomen) will return later this week.
American League:
- Orioles 2B Alexi Casilla has displayed concussion symptoms.
- White Sox RP David Purcey has been shut down for the rest of the season with a strain of the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow.
