- Giants 2B Marco Scutaro will undergo surgery on Friday to have a pin inserted into his left pinkie finger.

- Padres SS Ronny Cedeno (head) is likely to return later this week.
- Brewers 3B Aramis Ramirez (knee) is unlikely to play again this season.
- Brewers SS Jean Segura wants to test out his right hamstring in New York this weekend during the series versus the Mets.
- Dodgers OF Andre Ethier has been sent back to Los Angeles to have his left ankle examined by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

- Rays OF Desmond Jennings (hamstring) hit and played catch Tuesday.
- An X-ray on Blue Jays RP Kyle Drabek's right ankle came back negative.
- Blue Jays OF Moises Sierra (ankle) is expected back in the lineup Thursday.
