LOVE the tool grades graph. That's pretty cool stuff right there.

Seconded!

Lewis Thorpe listed as OF should be SP.

Yes, the tools graph is tremendously creative, and useful.
The color coding showing the relative strength of each
component on the prospect assembly was icing on the cake.

Funky.

And let me be the first to say: you forgot the Angels. ;)

These are fun lists. Thanks for putting it together. I just think its so hard to quantify these things. My guess though is that you will be looking back at this with some egg on your face for the Polanco rating. He is just too low for a 22 yr old with his tools. As for run alone you have him too low. The beauty is that if I'm wrong no one will remember this post. If you're wrong they can look at this list for as long as computers still exist. LOL!

Thanks again

LOVE this.

White Sox on there twice by "team"

I love the Twins coming in with eight and the surprise Thorpe at 101.

I am also surprised, after reading other lists, to see Sano so low.

Love the lists and their organization, as well as the visual.

Sorry for late response here - I fixed some "typo" type things (such as Thorpe) earlier this morning, thanks for sending them in to Mauricio and me and/or posting them here.

Angels and Brewers need better scouting departments. Don't read this, Parks - we don't want to lose you!

Love the depth, as always. Thank you to everyone involved in this process this year; I know it isn't easy.

Wow. The parsing by position, Organization, age are all of this things that I would try to do manually when previous lists came out. The graphic at the end is outstanding. While definitely a bonus to the afore-mentioned data, it represents an elegant visual presentation. This tool allows to very quickly focus on individual tools and trends at various parts of the lists at a glance. The reader can see objectivly why certain prospects fall at a given level. - very cool.

Mike Trout is younger than 25 prospects
Manny Machado is younger than 53 prospects
Jose Fernandez is younger than 55 prospects
Bryce Harper is younger than 64 prospects
Jurickson Profar is younger than 68 prospects

Wow, Yankees are going to have to do some serious horse trading in the next few years. Good thing they have the best young second basemen signed. Oh, never mind.

Just an FYI: Lucas Sims FB is a "potential 7". The 8 above was due to a data entry error on my part. It will be fixed tonight.

In regards to the chart. If a prospect doesn't have one of the bubbles around his name does that mean that that "tool" doesn't grade out to at least a 5? For example Sano doesn't have a "hit" bubble. Does his hit tool grade out lower than a 5? Love the article great work!
MRubio52

That is accurate.

Sano doesn't turn 21 til 05-11. Does that adjust anything or is this broken down by age during the season?
louschuler

Sorry to nitpick, but you have Piscotty listed as a P. Pretty sure he'll stick in the OF (where his +FB should get some use).

Thanks for all the work you put into this!

I meant in the tools graphic; he's listed as an OF everywhere else.
