But for those of us suffering from "Daily Beefy Boy Homer" fatigue... "If a little is good, a lot must be better", doesn't always work (don't get me started on trends in food). We get enough homers as it is, we don't need to find ways to create more.

That said, if a universal DH is necessary to make whatever MLB2020 is going to end up as work, I can accept that. But if 2021 goes back to "normal", that had better include NL pitchers with bats in their hands.

The pitcher choice should be relabeled “An actual requirement to personally manage a baseball game” while the beefy boys choice should be relabeled “Allowing the game to managed on auto-pilot or by a drunk or even by Marcel The Monkey.”
