That’s right, it’s me; famously silent MLB owner John Fisher. You may have read about my recent interaction with some A’s fans at the MLB Owners Meetings in Arlington:

“It’s been a lot worse for me than you,’’ Fisher told them. “Anyway, I just want to let you know I appreciate you guys being here, I appreciate the passion you have shown.’’

They thanked Fisher for coming over, and Isham said, “Can I ask you one question?’’

Fisher: “There’s never one question. I’ve got to go.”

One of my bodyguards was in Iraq and when I compared that moment to a terrorist ambush, I could tell by the way his eyeball twitched involuntarily that he completely agreed.

I’m reaching my wit’s end. Because I meant every word I said to those men in the lobby. Moving to Las Vegas is hard—and I’m the one doing it, not you, protestors standing comfortably in a hotel lobby.
