It’s all-star week here on For All You Kids Out There (and we imagine elsewhere in the baseball world as well), so you’d think there wouldn’t be much to talk about. You might be new here, it’s only Episode 11 after all, so we assure you, there is always too much to talk about on For All You Kids Out There. Jeffrey and Jarrett talk about the trade market for starting pitching on the heels of the Drew Pomeranz deal, and what that might mean for the Mets quest for more arms. Next, Jarrett wants to talk about Yuliesky Gurriel signing with not-the-Mets for some reason, even though Jeffrey knew exactly how this was going to play out. Then we wrap up the first half with a chat about Wilmer Flores‘ future and Giancarlo Stanton hitting a lot of dingers.
In the second half of the show, we are joined by Craig Goldstein, Minor League Editor at Baseball Prospectus, to discuss our midseason top 50 prospect list, and, uh, the other list we published this week.
In the third half of the show, we answer your correspondence, discuss some prospects we’ve seen lately, and go in deep on the latest pro wrestling news.
